Presently we are hosting several NMR book and journal titles unique in the country. Originally, this project represented the main financial effort of our foundation. Presently, we are heavily relaying on donations, as another programme ("the National NMR Laboratory") is absorbing almost all our funding. In 1998 the infrastructure of the library was significantly developed through the "Spectroteam - British Library" project, funded by the British Embassy in Bucharest and the Know-How Fund.
The NMR Library is presently one of the most important auxiliary projects supporting the "National Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Laboratory" Programme.
Considering the present economic difficulties we are appealing for further support in maintaining the subscriptions, especially those titles unique in the country, as well as for book donations.

The NMR Library is the first Project of the Spectroteam for Romania Foundation initiated back in 1991. On medium term it is hoped that this project will become the nucleus of a national NMR information centre.
