Left in 2000 for joining the Ultra-Sound group in the Centre of Organic Chemistry, Bucharest and subsequently she held various research and industry positions in Japan and the USA. In 2010 she rejoined the Biospectroscopy group for synthesis activities. In 2015 she left for a temporary research position in the UK.
